It's that time again...this time win a pair of tangled earrings. This photo is relative, but not exactly what you'll get if your one of the first 25 people to leave a comment about your favorite Christmas (or holiday) gift you've gotten. I know we're a mixed bag of religions, so choose your religious holiday (Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christian, etc.) and share your greatest gift ever received for that day.
I can't begin to express how much fun I'm having with these give-aways. I enjoy reading your comments and seeing where you're all located. The world is growing smaller, thanks to technology.

Here are the earrings I've tangled. Simple, yet fun and different. So comment by Saturday, December 22nd to win.
Thanks and have a merry, merry....

ReplyDeleteSo it does pay to stay on the computer for the better part of the day. I have gotten so many nice things for Christmas over the 60+ years. As a child, I'd have to say my teddy bear when I was six. And, yes, I still have it. As an adult, I'd have to say my husband. We were married on December 29th. As you might imagine, I don't remember much about "Christmas" that year as I was focused on my wedding. We had gone together for 6 years before marrying, and I was SO ready!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I am learning that just about anything can be done with a few strokes!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift would have to be my engagement ring. My mother was a real night owl and my husband to be was waiting for her to go to bed so he could pop the question on Christmas Eve. As it turned out I was begging him to "go home" because my mother decided to work the turkey! LOL I got my engagement ring in a box that I thought was for earrings (turned out the engagement ring also had the band to match) and it was buried in box upon box upon box...by 4am I am so tired I am getting grumpy (his family loves to do the box in box thing even now) "go home, just go home" It made for an interesting proposal and a wonderful Christmas. I am laughing about it now, and it has been a while (35 years, counting the engagement). THANKS for letting me remember!
My favorite Christmas gift was from my mother. She decorated Christmas balls with ribbons, lace, sequins, pearls and rhinestones. My absolute favorite is the one she used the rhinestone pins from her wedding shoes. I smile everytime I put it on the tree each year.
ReplyDeletemy favorite christmas was one year when I didn't have much money and couldn't take my kids out shopping as I used all I had to buy them their presents. after they opened their presents, I went back to bed, feeling sad... and then they came in with a basket FULL of change for my christmas present...
ReplyDeleteYour earrings are special but no need to enter me into this giveaway because I have received two wonderful gifts from you and want others to feel your generosity. I just had to jump in to the comments about a special Christmas gift. You have made this holiday so special for so many people. You are a gift of Aloha that will be remembered. In Hawaii there is a special meaning behind the word ~ Kikau. It means to give freely and with good will. Mahalo/Thank you for your loving kindness.
ReplyDeleteThese are perfect. I would even go and have my ears pierced if I was lucky enough to win them.
ReplyDeleteThe earrings are perfect. It's my 50th birthday this year born 1 week before Christmas and Christmas is my favorite Holiday. I love all of the decorations and spending time with family and friends over the Holidays. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful earrings! Truly the best Christmas present I was blessed to receive was in 2001. I was in Ukraine adopting my 18 month old (at the time) daughter, Katya. There was snow falling - big, fat, lazy flakes. My mother was with me and we had no presents as we had not intended to be there that long. We made do with a few toys we brought with us and a simple stocking given to us by staff at the hotel. We sang Christmas carols which lulled Katya to sleep at night. Christmas will always be a special time for many reasons!
ReplyDeletelet's see . . . how about a daughter-in-law? i got her almost 3 years ago and she has definitely been our best Christmas present to date :)
ReplyDeleteThose earrings are fabulous. My favorite present - well one of them was a sapphire ring my husband gave me - not only did I love it, but I get comments on it every time I wear it. Isn't Christmas the greatest holiday!!! Have a merry one!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift I have gotten for Christmas was when I was a kid, my mom got me a stuffed white tiger animal that I wanted so bad! I even remember crying bc I was so happy :)
ReplyDeleteThis will seem silly to most but I received a box of peanut brittle when I was young child and I loved it!!!! We didnt get sweets very often and I was allowed to keep the whole box. (This is most likely when my addiction to sugar began!)
